In this together.

What to expect when you work with me.

— Compassion and empathy.

I’ve been where you are, and I understand. I’m here to be your ultimate cheerleader and help you meet your feeding goals. When you work with me there are no judgments, no bias, no shame - only compassion, understanding, and listening.

— Immediate support.

The key to solving your feeding challenge is to meet your immediate needs and develop a long-term strategy that provides a true solution. We get started with an infant feeding assessment at your home or in my office.

In our time together at that first appointment, I begin with a parent interview to spend time listening. I then do an infant assessment - head to toe! - and observe a feeding. I do a first treatment based on your immediate needs and provide some recommendations for you to do on your own. For example, I observe if a lip is tight or if your baby has head turning preferences, will do an exercise in real time to the extent that your baby can tolerate it well, while teaching you that exercise for you to do on your own regularly.

Most importantly, I map out a feeding support plan to address the root cause of your challenges. Feeding challenges require a time investment to ensure long-term success and reaching your goals. Each plan is tailored specifically to you and your baby, and we’ll discuss the best one for you.

— A plan with real results.

The truth is, if your feeding challenge had a quick fix, you probably would have found the simple solution on the internet already and been good to go. I know from experience how difficult it is to take that first step in asking for help - and the disappointment and frustration that comes when the supposed straightforward fix only provides temporary relief - or even worse, makes things more difficult - and ultimately leads back to square one, making your efforts feel like a waste of time and money.

Feeding challenges represent a root cause problem that needs individualized care. My goal is to provide you the support you need to address that root cause. Before your initial assessment is over, I will discuss my recommendation for a feeding support plan that is holistic, individualized, and will give you the real results you truly need.

— Investment.
