Helping you reach your feeding goals.

Where are you at on your feeding journey?

— I’m getting started and just want to make sure everything is going well.

Yes! Establishing support before you ever experience a challenge is ideal. Reassurance along with some professional insight is a worthy investment - an investment in reaching your long term feeding goals. You don’t need to have a challenge or problem to spend some time with an infant feeding specialist. Want a proactive infant feeding assessment? Let’s do it!

— I’m having some issues feeding my baby.

It’s normal for feeding your baby to come with some challenges (you’re both learning!), but it’s not normal to go through them without support. Challenges with lactation, breastfeeding, and bottle feeding can start small and lead to a true problem. You may be feeling lost as to why things aren’t just “clicking” by now, or have a suspicion as to what the problem is, but you’re not sure how to fix it.

What’s most important in this moment is listening to you and finding out exactly what is going on, so I can assess your situation and give you tailored solutions. Let’s prevent your challenge from becoming a problem - set up an infant feeding assessment or shoot me a message.

— My latch is painful and/or my nipples are really sore.

Any pain or discomfort during breastfeeding is a problem that needs immediate attention from a professional. This is not the time to try to “tough it out” or wait and see if it gets better on its own - it probably won’t, and you’ll become frustrated and defeated as the pain worsens and leads to bleeding, cracking nipples that stop your feeding journey in its tracks. Don’t wait! Get support right away by scheduling an at-home or in-office infant feeding assessment.

— My baby has a tongue tie, lip tie, cheek tie.

If your baby has a tongue tie, lip tie, cheek tie (or maybe you suspect one) then you’re probably feeling both relieved to have an answer to the challenges you’ve been experiencing while also feeling overwhelmed by the process of addressing it. I’ve been there, myself!

As an infant feeding specialist with specific training in this area, a holistic treatment plan before and/or after any tie releases are critical to long term success. Whether your baby has had a release yet or not, let’s work together to invest in a plan that provides support and leads to long-term success, starting with an infant feeding assessment.

— My baby has reflux, colic, or isn’t gaining weight.

This is a serious problem that probably has you sleep deprived and stressed beyond belief. However, there are solutions - don’t panic! These feeding problems have root causes that can be addressed and fixed with individualized support and a holistic treatment plan. Schedule an infant feeding assessment today.

“My daughter and I saw Malia to get help with breastfeeding issues following a tongue tie release.

Malia was very knowledgeable, prepared, and helpful during our sessions. We were able to make significant improvements during our sessions, and my daughter and I went on to have a positive breastfeeding journey after a challenging beginning. I’m very thankful for Malia‘s support, and I would highly recommend her!”
